Biography :

I am a Marine Veteran from the Vietnam era. While in the service I met and married my Wife Donna.  She travelled with me to Marine Corps Air Station El Toro Ca.  I served for 4 years and  went back to my native Chicago, then with a pregnant wife and a new Son, David.  We went on to have our first Daughter, Lynn, then our Son Raymond and later our Daughter Jenny.

All are now grown with families of their own.

In Chicago, I continued my studies in electronics and in 1977 moved to New Jersey to work on some very new technology; microprocessors.  Little micro’s led to big mainframes and I went on to work on Computers of all sizes.  I worked in New York City for Tandem Computers, Morgan Guarantee and Trust, and Credit Suisse First Boston.  I also worked in New Jersey for AT&T, Bell Communications Research, and Bell Labs, as well as Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space.  I also worked in Philadelphia for the Stock Exchange.  Later, I took a teaching position at Lincoln Technical Institute, teaching electronics, computers and networking.  During some of this time in New Jersey, I got the Real Estate bug and was licensed in 1983 and held on to my license until 1993.  Even working part-time, I found a real love for Real Estate.

In 2003, my Wife and I moved to Eastern North Carolina. I started a Home Repair Company which lasted until 2009.  In 2010 I went to work for the Wellons Properties Companies and maintained two large complexes in Greenville. In the Spring of 2013, I injured my back which left me disabled. Later that same year, I was diagnosed with cancer.  In 2014 I had Surgery, Chemo Treatments, Radiation Treatments and finally Cyber-Knife Treatments.  In late 2016 the doctors pronounced me to be in full remission.

I tried to retire, but could not. In February 2019, I returned to an old love, Real Estate. Now with United Real Estate East Carolina I get to help people by doing something I really love to do. My ability for problem solving and attention to detail is still with me as I reach out to East Carolina, and all over North Carolina to help others with their Real Estate needs. Just one last thing, I am also a budding Real Estate Investor and am open to helping Investors as well as everyone else.

Testimonials

Mike was so good in handling everything to sell my house. Near the end it looked like the deal was going to fall through expecially when the buyer wanted so much money to do repairs that were outrageously priced. Mike was able to negotiate with the buyer and we closed on time, no problems. Thanks MIke for all your hard work.

I had been looking for a house since April. Mike helped me find my house and we closed in Janueary the following year. There were so many problems dealing with sellers that were out of state. I don't think I would have been able to go through this without Mike's help. SempreFi Jarhead!

I inherited a house I didn't want and had never even seen. People were calling me saying they wanted to buy it and offering such low prices. Even though I had never seen this house I knew it had to worth more than what they offered me. Mike promised he could sell it for at least double my highest offer to date. He was right! I live on the opposite side of the state and Mike handled everything without me having to travel. By the way, he got me 2-1/2 times what the other people had offered. He explained everything and walked me through the whole process. Thank you for all of your help.
